Orthodontics (from Greek orthos “straight” and odons “tooth”) is the specialty of dentistry that diagnoses, prevents, and treats oral problems that include crowding, bite problems, and abnormal growth of the jaws. Orthodontists complete a two-year residency after dental school exclusively studying these oral problems. After this residency, Drs. Perkins and Stock continue their education through orthodontic meetings, study clubs, and continuing education courses. Orthodontic treatment can lead to a more healthy, beautiful, and functional smile. Our office uses state-of-the-art procedures and materials.
Drs. Perkins and Stock have their main office in Iowa City with additional offices in Fairfield, Washington, and Williamsburg, Iowa.
